Lughnasadh 🌞 Wheel of the Year Blend
Lughnasadh is the ancient Celtic festival of the First Harvest—a celebration of gratitude, abundance, and the turning of the Wheel as the first grains, fruits, and seeds are gathered from the fields. Golden oats sway beneath late-summer skies, orchards hang heavy with ripening fruit, and harvest tables begin to fill, honoring both the gifts of the earth and the hands that tended them.
Built upon smooth honeybush and toasted oats, this blend opens with the sun-ripened sweetness of blueberry, peach, and raisin, echoing overflowing baskets gathered from orchard and hedgerow. Flax, oat straw, blackberry leaf, alfalfa, and nourishing barley and wheatgrass bring a softly green, grain-filled character, while fennel lends a gentle sweetness that lingers on the finish.
Calendula and cornflower scatter golden and blue blooms throughout the cup like wildflowers left standing at the field's edge, while poppy seed, dill, beet root, and meadow herbs weave together the quiet richness of fertile soil and late-summer abundance. Every ingredient reflects the spirit of the first harvest—earthy, generous, and deeply rooted in the rhythms of the season.
The result is warm, nourishing, and quietly abundant—a fruit-forward cup with gentle grain notes and a softly herbaceous finish that honors Lughnasadh's first harvest and the promise of all that is still to come. 🌾

Drink Lughnasadh as a ritual of gratitude for the first harvest and the abundance already gathered.
🌾 On Lughnasadh or throughout the first harvest season beneath golden late-summer skies
🌾 While baking bread, preserving fruit, or preparing a harvest feast
🌾 During walks through fields, orchards, or gardens heavy with ripening abundance
🌾 When reflecting on the seeds you've sown and the fruits of your labor
🌾 As a reminder to celebrate progress, practice gratitude, and welcome the harvests still to comeSip slowly beneath the warm August sun or beside an evening fire. Offer thanks for the blessings already received, honor the work that brought them forth, and embrace the quiet promise that this first harvest is only the beginning of the season's abundance. 🌾

Find the cup of tea that feels like yours—everyone prefers a different balance of softness and boldness, so play and explore.
Steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea, covered, in 6–8 oz of hot water for about 7 minutes. For a stronger cup, steep a little longer or use more tea; for a lighter infusion, reduce the steeping time or amount. Every palate is different, so we encourage you to adjust the brew to your personal taste.
Use a fine tea sock or once steeped, strain through a fine mesh strainer, as some botanicals in our blends are intentionally very small and may pass through larger strainers.
For iced tea, prepare the tea as directed above, then chill to your desired temperature before serving to avoid diluting the flavor with melting ice. If you'd prefer to pour the tea directly over ice, brew it stronger by using more tea, steeping it a little longer, or both, to account for the dilution.
Before measuring your tea, gently shake the pouch. Because our blends contain herbs, flowers, fruits, roots, and spices of varying sizes and weights, ingredients may naturally settle during shipping and storage.
To preserve freshness and flavor, store your tea in a cool, dark, dry place, away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.
For the brightest aroma and flavor, we recommend enjoying your tea by the date on the compostable package.
