Mabon 🍂 Wheel of the Year Blend
Mabon marks the second harvest and the Autumn Equinox—the moment when day and night meet in equal measure before the wheel tips toward the darker half of the year. It is a threshold of abundance and release: a time to gather what has ripened, give thanks for what has sustained us, and recognize that every harvest carries both fullness and letting go.
This seasonal blend draws Mabon into a deep, roasted cup reminiscent of spiced herbal coffee. Roasted carob, dandelion root, and chicory create a dark, earthy foundation, joined by toasted hazelnut and chaga mushroom for woodland richness. Apple brings the sweetness of the autumn orchard, while ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, sage, and nutmeg gather around it in layers of warming spice. Vanilla bean softens the darker roasted notes, with cornsilk and hops woven quietly through the blend.
The result is rich, nutty, earthy, and gently sweet—a caffeine-free herbal brew with the cozy depth of coffee, the warmth of autumn spice, and the feeling of something gathered from orchard, field, forest, and hearth.
It tastes like the second harvest itself: roots pulled from darkening earth, apples and hazelnuts gathered into baskets, fragrant spices beside the hearth, fallen leaves underfoot, and the last golden light lingering at the edge of the season.

Mabon invites us to stand for a moment at the balance point—not only between light and darkness, but between receiving and releasing, abundance and enough, gathering and letting go. The harvest asks us to notice what has actually come to fruition: what began as a seed in an earlier season, what we tended even when we could not yet see the outcome, and what is now ready to be gathered.
Sip with gratitude for what has ripened, reverence for what sustained its becoming, and discernment about what you want to carry with you as the year turns inward.
Sip into the Second Harvest:
🍂 At the Autumn Equinox, as day and night meet in balance.
🍂 While reflecting on what has come to fruition since spring and summer.
🍂 When gathering apples, nuts, herbs, or the last abundance of the garden.
🍂 With a slow breakfast when you want the richness of coffee without the caffeine.
🍂 Beside a fire on the first truly cool evenings of autumn.
🍂 While giving thanks for the people, places, creatures, and earth that sustain you.
🍂 When making space for both gratitude and grief—for what has grown and what must now be released.
🍂 While considering what is worth carrying into the darker half of the year.
🍂 Whenever you crave something roasted, earthy, warmly spiced, and deeply autumnal.

Find the cup of tea that feels like yours—everyone prefers a different balance of softness and boldness, so play and explore.
Steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea, covered, in 6–8 oz of boiled water for about 7 minutes. For a stronger cup, steep a little longer or use more tea; for a lighter infusion, reduce the steeping time or amount. Every palate is different, so we encourage you to adjust the brew to your personal taste.
Use a fine tea sock or once steeped, strain through a fine mesh strainer, as some botanicals in our blends are intentionally very small and may pass through larger strainers.
For iced tea, prepare the tea as directed above, then chill to your desired temperature before serving to avoid diluting the flavor with melting ice. If you'd prefer to pour the tea directly over ice, brew it stronger by using more tea, steeping it a little longer, or both, to account for the dilution.
Before measuring your tea, gently shake the pouch. Because our blends contain herbs, flowers, fruits, roots, and spices of varying sizes and weights, ingredients may naturally settle during shipping and storage.
To preserve freshness and flavor, store your tea in a cool, dark, dry place, away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.
For the brightest aroma and flavor, we recommend enjoying your tea by the date on the compostable package.
