Samhain 🎃 Wheel of the Year Blend

Meaning summer’s end, Samhain marks the third and final harvest and the descent into the darker half of the year. Falling between the Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice, it is a liminal point on the Wheel: the growing season has closed, cold days lie ahead, and one cycle gives way to the next.

Often called the Witch’s New Year, Samhain is a festival of endings + beginnings, fire + feasting, remembrance + mystery. Traditionally, it was a time to prepare stores for the coming months, honor the dead and those who came before, and acknowledge the thinning boundary between seen + unseen worlds. Ancient folklore and observances still echo through many Halloween customs today.

This seasonal blend draws that last abundance into a rich cup reminiscent of pumpkin spice. Persimmon and apple bring late-autumn sweetness, while heirloom pumpkin seeds and purple sweet potato lend earthy depth. Cinnamon, nutmeg + clove kindle familiar notes of the season, softened by vanilla bean and marshmallow root. Elderberry and elderflower mingle with rosemary, sage + chrysanthemum, weaving an herbaceous, mysterious character throughout.

The result is fruity, earthy, gently sweet + warmly spiced—a caffeine-free botanical brew with cozy familiarity and a wilder spirit. It tastes of late-season fruits collected before the frost, carved jack-o’-lanterns glowing as beacons, seeds saved for another year, fragrant botanicals beside the sacred hearth, fallen leaves beneath a darkening sky, candles flickering for those remembered + a little old magic stirring in the in-between.
